I personally just needed an app where I could like display my art where no one can see and I found this app and it works great for me and I’m sure whoever else who uses this will love it to
Don’t use to secure anything important!!
I downloaded this app on my iPad, and added selected data files and photos (>100) into the app. Immediately, then after that, I made a FATAL mistake. The app asks/invites the user to delete the originals after adding them to FolderLock, so I said yes to the invite and deleted my data/photos from their original locations. Subsequent to those activities, I had to replace my iPad due to a cracked screen, and used the iPad tool that transfers all apps and files, photos etc from the old to the new iPad.. Upon completion of the APP/data transfer, I tried opening some of the apps that incorporated file downloads, like FolderLock. All were perfect…, except for FolderLock. FolderLock failed to open, as several other commenters observed in their own comments.
The downloaded files and folders that ONLY existed inside of FolderLock were lost forever, especially since the developer seems to be unresponsive to support requests to address this particular FATAL failure.
No data
When I first downloaded the app I was very happy and stayed happy for a long time…but now I have been trying to access my data for days now. I put in my password and nothing happens. It just spins and spins like it wants to open. I emailed twice to find out what to do with no response. I have a ton of pics and videos on the app and worried they are lost. It would be nice if someone would reach out. I believe I have been using the app in guest mode which I don’t understand what that means…I always have to put in my password to access my data
