Does what it says; needs a few tweaks
Does exactly what it says, but a few tweaks would be welcomed, such as picking a different color palette as the default (primary colors instead of pastels, for instance) and maybe a dedicated spot for removing colorization (i.e., not "x" then drop, but dropping the colorized folder on the X removes the color).
Updated Review! Went From “Meh” to “AWESOME!"
When I first bought the app, I had several issues and went to another app available on the App Store. It was marginally better, but couldn’t match the ease-of-use of folderol. I tried folderol again, after a clean install, but was still having issues. I took a chance and emailed the developer.
Imagine my surprise and delight when she emailed back within half an hour! She asked me some questions and after a few email exchanges, she sent a workaround while she did some things on her end. The VERY NEXT DAY, she emailed me a beta version that fixed all my isssues and generally increased the awesomeness of this app by 100%. Sleek and easy to use, it did just what I wanted with no fuss and no flaws.
I couldn’t be happier with this app and this developer. Thank you! Completely worth the four dollars!
Original Review Follows:
I can’t get customer images to apply at all anymore. The tinting issues are still happening for me, unfortunately, and I find it oddly difficult to remove any applied modifications and return the image to stock.
I’ll look elsewhere for a solution.
I have been using this application for a few years now and it is a great and useful product. It helps me designate which folders are important and which folders are not, simply by coloring them a specific color, using the Folderal app. In addition I have been able to make subfolders within folders and designate them as well.
Great product (I think I said that already). I look forward to seeing what other apps Ms. Sadun has developed.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
