Font picker is a simple application that lets you browse the installed fonts on your computer and then narrow down that selection till you find the perfect font for your design project.
Click on the sample text to change it to your chosen text. Remove fonts you don’t like, or select the ones you do and crop to show only those fonts.
Once you’ve narrowed down your selection you can:
◆ Save your font list for later
◆ Print your font list
◆ Export as PDF
◆ Copy and paste into an application that accepts copied rich text

Really Helpful, but would be even better if…..
Super helpful app. Thank you for making it!!
It would be nice if we could sort the typefaces by what kind they are. For example have an option to only display SANS typefaces, or only display typefaces designed for print, etc.
Even if we had to categorize them ourselves, it would be worth it to me to spend an hour categorizing all my typefaces so that future searches can be more refined than just displaying all the hundreds of typefaces that I own haha.
Also it would be nice to see all the weights of each typeface instead of just showing the default weight. Maybe we are looking for a super bold and condensed typeface but when it only shows us the medium weight we may pass up the perfect font family because it isn’t showing the bold condensed version of the typeface, just the medium.
Thanks again for making this app! I hope to see these changes in some future version.
Great way to preview fonts for design!
Great way to preview fonts for design! You can type the text and preview it using all your installed fonts or select certain ones. Great for making decision on which font to use for a project from various fonts of liking.
For developer: Please add an add feature to add fonts to preselected ones. For now I can do with the reset :) But Great Start!!!
Simple & useful!
This app does exactly what it says. When I'm designing, I like to type in a phrase and pick the font that looks the best -- this is perfect for that. Saving the selections as a PDF is genius because I can send the PDF to clients for approval on the fonts.
The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it would be GREAT to have a simple "Favorites" or "Favorite Sets" option. Wherein one could "Save" various sets of favorite fonts - like a "handwritten set" and an "art deco set", etc.
But overall - it's simple and fantastic!
