FontPop puts every font on your Mac — and 1,946 more from Google Fonts — one keystroke away, all of them rendering the words you actually care about.
Type your sample text once and every family in the list shows it. No specimen sentences, no font names pretending to be previews.
ONE LIST, TWO SOURCES
• Everything installed here, plus the whole Google Fonts catalogue, merged and deduplicated.
• Preview a Google font before you decide. Nothing is installed just to look at it.
FIND IT
• Filter by serif, sans, slab, script, display, monospace or variable.
• Show only the families that can actually render your text — which matters the moment your words leave the Latin alphabet.
• Pin the ones you keep coming back to.
COPY WHAT YOU NEED
• Family and PostScript names.
• SwiftUI Font.custom(…) and AppKit NSFont(name:size:), both using the name that actually resolves.
• A CSS stack with a fallback matched to the font's own class.
• @font-face for self-hosting, or a link or @import for a Google font, with every weight the family offers.
LOOK CLOSER
• A glyph browser, searchable by character, name or codepoint.
• Live sliders for a variable font's axes.
• Every face in the family, each rendering your sample.
A PICKER, NOT A MANAGER
FontPop reads the fonts on your Mac. It never installs, moves or removes one. When you want to keep a Google font, Download Family fetches every weight along with its license, ready for Font Book.
It lives in the menu bar and opens on a hotkey, as a popover or as a floating window. Available in eleven languages.
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
On macOS 27, the ⋯ menu no longer closes the instant it opens when it's the first thing you click after opening the popover.
Hiding the menu bar icon now switches FontPop to window mode, and choosing popover mode brings the icon back, since the popover hangs off it.
