FOOD Richmond Hill 4+

We went out on a limb tonight (Friday) and decided to order sushi and hibachi from Shogun in Richmond Hill. With family in town, and 9 people to feed, cooking wasn’t an option after a long week.

This was our first time using FOOD and it did NOT disappoint! The app is easy to navigate, saves your order history for easy reordering, and even tracks the status of your order from when it is received by the restaurant, to when the delivery driver arrives to receive your order, to when it is pending delivery.

Tonight I placed an order at 6:10 for 2 adult hibachi meals, 5 Children’s hibachi meals, and 3 sushi rolls. Within minutes of placing the order I received a text notification and email to confirm Shogun received our order.

By 6:35, the status updated (with text and email notifications, as well as tracking through the FOOD app) that the delivery driver had arrived to receive our order at Shogun. 10 minutes later our driver called to confirm delivery address and to notify us they were on their way!

Our extremely fresh, hot, well packaged and organized order was deliver by 6:58....15 minutes earlier then estimated upon order! The driver was extremely pleasant as well.

For a minimal delivery fee of just under $4, FOOD Richmond Hill is the way to go!

Easy to use app, shows restaurants (even when they aren’t open) to choose from and their menu availability. Love the “favorites” section of menu that shows popular items, great feature if you are trying a new place. Love the delivery tracker with interactive map, makes it so much easier to know when your food will arrive! Have had deliveries on weekends and are usually delivered well before estimated delivery time. Would definitely recommend this service to anyone in the Richmond Hill area!

I love this idea, and this is the only food delivery app we’ve used while we’ve lived in Richmond hill for the last 4 years.
