The app works reasonably well, though the UI could use some improvements. Many of the issues are with the backing systems and also present in the desktop web site. For example, if you transfer money to or from your account, regardless of whether it is initiated from Forbright or an external account, you will never be able to look at your account and tell what account the money was sent to or came from. Every other bank on the planet will indicate the other bank involved and a partial account number, but not Forbright. Also, read their terms of service, they're unreasonable. They literally say they can infect you with a virus and lose all your money, and have no responsibility for either. Only my belief that would never hold up in court and was written by a foolish lawyer keeps me from leaving. The interest rate is great, of course.

I have two siblings and we are on a Save Challenge. Sad how difficult it is for us hard working adults to save the infamous emergency fund of $1000. We are destined to succeed one of these years LOL. Anyways, understanding that the best way to get going is to find a great savings account that offers interest rates you can actually see, they discovered and referred me to Forbright for the excellent savings APY rate. Now we three are customers and on a mission to conquer our savings challenge with Forbright!

It’s a great bank to me because of its high yield interest rate that is above others. The rate fluctuates but I have had as high as 5% with them. The only negative would be their transaction speed. I usually have to wait up to three days to see the full transaction complete from end to end. But it does deter me from moving money out of this account unless it’s an emergency. Easily connects with some banks.
