A pretty cool game

I downloaded this expecting to be hit with a paywall or bombarded with ads as soon as the game loaded, and it didn’t happen, so right away I was impressed. They only have one case to solve right now, but it was really cool! They don’t hold your hand through the case, so you actually get to solve it while still getting a feel for the controls. Definitely play in a bigger room that’s free of any obstacles, because the AR won’t recognize when something’s in your way and you do have to get pretty close to some of the things in the game to interact with them. Overall, I’d totally recommend this, but I’m saving that fifth star for when there’s more than 7 minutes of gameplay available. 😉

I really love this app! But...

Why three stars:
I'm in love with the concept and I love that there are NO ADS!!! I would gladly pay to have more than one crime to solve. I gave three stars because of only one crime to solve. I understand that it takes time to develop content but because the app has been out for a bit, people will be expecting more. No one will want to keep this app on their phone and play the same game over and over. I'm keeping it in case more content is added soon. Although at the time of writing this review, an update was made two days ago, so that's good! But I love the idea so much, I will pay for it. And I hate paying for apps. Really amazing idea!

My boyfriend just saw me running around the room trying to beat the ticking clock. It isn't overly simple and not too difficult, which was perfect! I liked that there isn't an option for hints, because in the real world of solving crime there are no hints. I can get my older kids involved because it isn't graphic! Super fun and with the 6minute game time , it doesn't take up a lot of your day. I enjoyed the evidence and testimony from the suspects, nothing screamed out, "oh yeah, this person is obviously the criminal". It makes you think a little bit and your first instinct might be wrong.

Not worth the download.

Where to start... You need an absolute perfectly and brightly lit room with no furniture in it. Also, the room needs to be small. I tried playing in my living room and it’s crap at detecting walls, or even the floor. Everything that’s supposed to be on a floor looks like it’s several floors below me. Things that are supposed to go on walls are either not on a wall, floating in the air, or they’re miles behind a real wall, where I would need to get into my neighbor’s apartment on the other side of my apartment walls to get to the stuff. The way you solve “mysteries” is just a matching game. The game ends pretty much before it even begins. There’s only ONE case and it never changes. It would be nice if it randomized stuff, like things that you find, suspects, and their stories, etc.. But no. It’s the exact same case every time you play with all the same items, and suspects. There’s no change or replay value. This, overall feels like a VERY unfinished game, and considering the LARGE amount of time that’s past and there’s been no updates, bug fixes, or new cases, I believe that this is an abandoned project. Avoid this one.
