I love this app because it helps me SEE and SHARE my progress, without trying to over engineer the way I actually track it. Look, there’s no getting around the work of writing down my sets and reps or the length of my run or my tennis match. Nor do I want there to be, because I enjoy that simple activity of logging. The need it fills for me is to quickly see my progress over time in a way that previously was not visible in my physical notebook or Notes app, and to share both that trajectory and some of the highlights - in the form of individual workouts that were especially meaningful - with the people I care about, including friends, family, and even new friends who share my passion for fitness. No frills and everything I need.
I highly recommend this app!! This app is the new up and coming socialmedia platform of fitness! Not only can you accurately put in your workouts, but you post them and get to connect with people from all over the world. Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or you are an advanced lifter, putting in your workouts is quick, easy, and way better than any other app I’ve used. Plus, customer service responds right away if you have any questions! You should definitely download this if you are wanting motivation to workout, to connect with others, or to just get pumped about fitness!
I’m someone who loves working out and tracking things, so I was excited when I learned about Fortis. I love the connection aspect. The app works really well but here’s a few things I think could make it even better: - the bio feature: every time i press the space bar it reverts to capital letters (like when you start a new sentence), idk if that’s just my phone - I think it would be cool to have a community feature where you can post either to following feed or to everyone with motivation, tips, etc. you can go to others profiles and see their posts. Etc. - possibly more customization for workouts. Like sports, or home workouts, etc. All in all it’s a really great app and I can’t wait to use it more! Definitely give it a try!
A breath of fresh air from the typical slew of workout apps. It’s both sleek and user-friendly. I’m able to track any exercise I perform in a given workout and the fact that it’s so easy to enter weight, sets and reps means logging your progress doesn’t interfere with the workout itself. Being able to view my friend’s workouts and share my own is the cherry on top. 10/10
I’ve used so many workout apps and haven’t been able to find one that’s user friendly and engaging until Fortis! It’s so easy to log my exercises between sets and I love that it shows me my progress over time. I’ve gotten all my friends on Fortis too and love that I can see their workout posts too- it helps me hold myself accountable in the gym!
Was using excel/spreadsheet to track my progress, but having to manually input all the data and graphs was tiresome. With Fortis, it's easier to track weightlifting progress while working out (especially in between sets). The social-media-esque layout makes it fun to help your friends stay locked in while holding yourself accountable as well. Brilliant app
