Love

As a standard idle gacha, it’s not bad at all. I’ve only been playing for a few days but have five legendary heroes and I’ll get another free one soon! The designs are gorgeous, and I was shocked to find a lot of diversity in the characters.
Although I haven’t gone through a lot of the story yet, I can tell I’ll like it. There’s just one issue with the translation, there’s some grammatical errors, like instead of a period there was a slash, like this/ Fortunately, it doesn’t interfere with the reading experience, but it does concern me with how the translation will continue going forward.
All in all this is a great game to turn your brain off too, and if you like lore, it’s there too.

Profanity in the game

Need to warn you that this game is currently rated 8+ and I found an instance of strong profanity in the game. One of the character says “f—-k off a—-hole”. It was uncensored and unfiltered. And this isn’t from the chats — this is entirely from the in game dialogue. Do you think that is appropriate for a game rated 8+? It isn’t. Furthermore there is no content warning in the age descriptor, the app is not rated 16+ or even 12+ for that matter, and for some reason, the App Store lets something like this slide. This is completely unacceptable, and Apple needs to do a better job monitoring these apps for objectionable content and being more clear with content warnings and age levels. I’m giving this one star for this purpose. These developers are completely irresponsible and somehow lack common sense if they’re passing this off as a game for kids and putting those kind of swear words in the game. If you’re going to do that, at the very least bump up the age rating to 17+ and give a content warning about the language.

Fun, little pricey

The game is fun. It’s your standard “idle grind” game. Now. Good and bad stuff!

Good Stuff: The drop rates for legendary heroes is very good. Only been playing for a week and already have most of the legendary characters. I’ve only made 2 purchases (remove ads and an equipment box). They have a lot of new player and continual events where you can earn gems (pay currency). The grind has a lot of layers to upgrading your character and your castle. All in all, it was fun enough that I paid to remove the ads which means I’ll continue playing for awhile yet.

‘Bad’/Neutral Stuff: The seasonal pass is $20, which is way too much. Some of the packages are fairly priced but most of them are overpriced, imo. The P2W is for real. If you spend money you can RAPIDLY outpace other players. The “recommended strengths” really don’t matter… some stuff you’re way out paced for but still lose, some things you supposedly won’t be able to handle but clear it easily… so their algorithm for challenges doesn’t know what it’s talking about.

All in all, it’s fun! It’s a good time burner. If you’re playing to be “competitive” you’ll have to go deep in your pockets; so either be rich or just play for fun.
