With over 50% of foster youth experiencing housing insecurity, poverty, or interruptions in their education within years of emancipation, FosterBuddy aims to elevate the odds of foster youth’s success—success that starts by signing up as a FosterBuddy mentor.
From there, FosterBuddy helps offer a safe space for young people to learn directly from a mentor who’s worked in a field they’re interested in.
Whatever your professional skills or expertise might be—whether in the realm of medicine, business, entertainment, or tech—there is no limit to the impact FosterBuddy mentors can have on guiding young people who have few others to turn to in their lives.

A LIFE CHANGING app👏
Wow. I came from the Foster Buddy instagram page and am in the process of becoming a mentor. I was so impressed to realize that there is a background check system embedded within the app that is fully payed for by the developer’s fundraisers. This is crucial because of how important it is for foster youth to be protected from people with the wrong intentions, so I applaud them for making an app that is not only so groundbreaking, but that is safe! This will change lives and I am so excited to be apart of it by being a Foster Buddy mentor😊😊😊😊
App making real change
I’ve always wanted to give back to the system because I aged out years ago (and definitely would have benefited from something like this lol) but this app provides a great way of making a difference which is pretty rare to see in apps these days. Excited to become a mentor this week
Finally! An easy way to become a mentor!!
I’ve always wanted to be a mentor and unfortunately never put in the time to find the right organization. A friend told me about Foster Buddies and I signed up! It was so simple. The app is a great way to get paired with someone who could benefit from
what I can teach. Genius!!! And I love that they do background checks, so smart.
