FotoMagico is a real-time slideshow editor, which can play slideshows instantly in full resolution without wasting time for rendering. ABOUT FOTOMAGICO SUBSCRIPTION
A FotoMagico subscription gives you access to the FotoMagico slideshow editor on iPad and Mac, frequent updates to the apps and regularly published, useful content such as tutorials, slideshow snippets and more. Without a subscription, you can use FotoMagico for iPad to view and present slideshows you created before the subscription expired or with a previous version of FotoMagico. There is a free, 14 day trial period.
The FotoMagico subscription is a monthly, auto-renewing subscription. Payment will be charged to your App Store Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription is automatically renewed if it is not canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions in App Store Account settings where you may turn off the auto-renewal.

- Added Shared Albums to Photos.app in the media browser.
- The Audio Marker Assistant now has an interactive tutorial. Access it via the help button in the lower left corner.
- The Audio Marker Assistant now lets you add an inactive marker by pressing the N key. Pressing the M key continues to add an active marker.
- The audio waveform in the Audio marker Assistant has been slightly changed to be more useful. It now displays slide indexes for each active marker, so that you can find corresponding slides in the Storyboard.
- Dragging royalty free music (with audio markers) to the Storyboard is now more reliable, producing identical results, regardless whether you first add the images and then the music, or the other way round.
- When adding royalty free music (with audio markers) to existing slides, the transition durations are now modified in a way that they match the beat of the music.
- Hopefully fixed occasional crashes when using the recently introduced deflickering option for animated image layers.
- Installing a FotoMagico license by clicking on the link you received in the email from Fastspring is now more reliable if the original purchase was some time ago.
- The Shuffle transition now renders correctly when sharing the slideshow as a QuickTime movie file.
- Internal stability improvements.
Ratings and Reviews
Truly excellent software
I'm not often moved to write a review, but when I needed to put together a memorial slideshow of over 300 photos and found iMovie woefully inadequate (I mean, really miserable for anything but the most rudimentary work), I looked around and held my breath at what might be available. What I found in FotoMagico was a revelation. It was powerful, intuitive, fast, and just plain worked. A free trial was unlimited, such a surprise these days. I can't thank the develop enough for a joyful experience with this software. Even though my task was fully completed within the free trial, I'm going to subscribe for a few months just as a thanks. And if I have occasion in the future for a slideshow, this will be my first and only choice. Thank you.
Don't waste your time or money
"I have years of experience in broadcasting, so I'm adept at navigating drag and drop software. However, this photo video software suite has proven to be one of the most challenging ones I've encountered. After wasting around 4 hours attempting to create a graduation montage video, I ultimately gave up and resorted to making a regular slideshow in Apple Photos, which got the job done. Now, I'm faced with the tedious task of unsubscribing, but it seems impossible to locate it on the subscription list. Despite the app indicating that I have 11 days left on my subscription, I suspect that I won't be able to unsubscribe until they charge me. This situation suggests that they lack a quality product and resort to deceptive tactics to trap unsuspecting subscribers.
Marketing kills another app
After decades of use and purrchases, goodbuy to the subscription plan version of an otherwise powwerful app. There are other options, some at no cost.
