I recommend this app to all my friends

It has been a while since I have used this app as I have been doing a Gabi Master A instead of a more traditional dripper. For pour over. But I am in Puebla Mexico, and having some amazing coffee at specialty coffee shops here, and I was showing the app to one of the baristas. And that is how I discovered the subtle changes. But I quickly realize that all I needed to do was to click the PRO option, and all of the details I would need for programming would be there. I learned the app very quickly, and am very pleased with it still and I highly recommend it. It is worth the price. If you are a coffee aficionado like I am.

Easy to use & worth the $2 upgrade!

I’ve tried several pour-over brewing apps and this one is the easiest & most pleasant to use. The method itself is giving me great results, and I love that I can set one number & two preferences and the math & steps are laid out for me to follow. Paid for the one-time Pro upgrade & it’s worth it to be able to adjust ratios. I also appreciate that there’s a 3 second countdown after hitting start so I have a chance to grab my kettle.

Only thing I’d like that this app doesn’t have (yet?) is a way to save a short history of my brew sessions. The average drawn down is good info to have but I’d like to be able to refer back to it later.

Thanks for the review! A brew log has been something I’ve considered adding since the beginning. So it’s very likely to come in a future update.

Easy to use Hario method for beginners

Really helpful with a small hario to make a cup or two of coffee with a good method that extracts the right flavors you’re looking for. Really good tool for beginners who want to use a hario but are worried about all the different brewing techniques. Start from here, and you just adjust your coffee beans and grind size. I like a very coarse, pretty much like a French Press grind size. Grind 30 on an Encore. Start from here, master this with your Hario, then you always have a standard to come back to while you experiment with other pouring techniques that suit you, while still getting the cup of coffee that you enjoy.
