When I first downloaded the app, I didn't notice too many problems. Then when I went to open it last week, my phone immediately crashed and I couldn't turn it back on so i had to take it to the apple store to fix it. I figured it was just an issue with the timing though so I didn't assume the app was the cause. However the next time I opened it, ut crashed again. I ended up buying a new phone. I bought one of the newest models and hoped that would be the end of it. News flash, it was not. The third time I opened the app, my phone crashed once again but since the phone was so new I guess I was able to just turn it back on. So I reset my phone, deleted and redownloaded the app. This time, the app opened, worked properly for a few minutes, then it kicked me out of the app. And besides this major inconvenience, whenever the app WOULD work, it would absolutely KILL MY BATTERY. For instance, if I was on the app while simultaneously charging it, my phones percentage would not go up, it would stay the same no matter how long you charged it, OR IT WOULD GO DOWN. So don't even get me started on trying to be on the app WITHOUT charging the device. All in all, the hassle is totally not worth the completely biased and crappy "news" articles. Very disappointed.

Don’t install this.

So, I installed this app to get a good news source to stay well informed about the events happening in the world, though I couldn’t even get a chance to get to this app’s home screen. The moment I launched the app it froze up, and not just the app itself but rather my phone itself froze up. I kept trying to escape with the home button but it wouldn’t take me to my home screen, not to mention that I used my power button to get to my lock screen, and though that did work it took a minute for my phone to turn off. After I put in my passcode to see if it unfroze, it hadn’t. The screen instead turned completely black, but I could use my home button at least, but my phone itself was extremely laggy and I felt my phone overheating. I took my phone out of it’s case and exited the app along with removing it from my tabs before turning off my phone for it to cool down, note that my phone never does this and my house wasn’t hot. I restarted my phone after it cooled down so I could retry it, deciding to chalk it up to my phone possibly being in a funk, but the same thing happened after I retried. I don’t recommend installing this, from other reviews I’ve seen people are having the same exact problems. This app seriously needs to be reworked.

Battery usage, hard to use, strange options

When I downloaded the app, it took about 20% of my battery to download. Not only that, but it took about 65% more to use. I didn’t expect to have to have my phone plugged in while I’m reading the news! When I got my phone plugged in, I went to the coronavirus portion of the app, but the link took me to a web browser! I got the app so I don’t have to use a web browser. I scrolled down to the business section, but when I clicked on it, the link took me to the App Store, telling me to download the business app. Why have that section as an offer if you have to download a whole other app? Not only that, but there is no search option, you have to manually find what you want to inform about. Lastly, there was a section for opinions. Why is this even an option? I didn’t get the app to hear opinions. If I wanted to hear some, I would go online or outside. They are news anchors, not politicians. Keep your opinions out of the news. If someone watches videos from this app and hear Tucker Carlson talking about his standpoints on a topic, they might think that it is the facts. I strongly recommend this app be taken down for loss of battery life, glitches and difficult platform, and the mixture of fact and fiction.
