Clunky Registration

FPL needs to hire UI/UX experts. This app has clearly been written by developers with no regard for the user experience. To create your initial password you cannot paste into the field. You can tap on the first field and have your password manager insert the password but you cannot do so on the second field. As soon as you try to click on your password manager to fill the password, focus is lost. This discourages the use of long secure passwords putting both FPL and their customer at risk.

Needs Work

On the DC fast charging side, they really need to fix UI for the charger type selection. Even though it defaults to CCS, you have to select it again or you can’t start charging. Just non-intuitive design. I had to help several people at the FPL charger.

For home charging, it needs more features from the Wallbox application including system restore and WiFi configuration. If your charger locks up (and it will), as others have noted, this app is worthless. You have to call an 800 number, then wait 2-4 days for Wallbox to contact you. They then have to give you temporary access to the Wallbox application you should be using in the first place because this application has no advanced control functions for the charger.

Why would you remove Apple Pay?

I like the new redesign, app looks more premium now, but new update removed the option of using Apple Pay which is super convenient. Dear Product Managers, could you please ask your Developers to return Apply Pay options back to the product ☺️

Thanks for the feedback on the new redesign! Apple Pay is still an option - when you go to the start charging screen and see the drop down with your payment methods, you can tap 'Apple Pay' in that menu and it'll launch the Apple Pay authorization process and charge that instead of a card on file. We'll work on making this clearer for users so that you can find it more easily!
