Franciscan Virtual Care brings the doctor visit to you when and where you need it. Within 30 minutes of requesting care, you’ll be speaking with a board-certified doctor or registered nurse practitioner.

Our team of board-certified doctors and nurse practitioners provide consultation, diagnosis and treatment via video chat or phone 24/7 without an appointment. Our team can call prescriptions (deemed clinically appropriate) into your local pharmacy.

Franciscan Virtual Urgent Care can treat a variety of minor illnesses such as these common conditions:
• Cold and Flu
• Pink Eye
• Rash
• Stomach Flu
• Allergies
• Back Pain
• Urinary Tract Infection in Adult Women

1. What does it cost?
Each Franciscan Virtual Urgent Care visit costs a flat fee of $35, always. There are no hidden fees or added charges. At the beginning of your virtual visit, the provider determines whether your health concern is appropriate for virtual urgent care. If your situation is quickly determined to be inappropriate for Virtual Urgent Care, you will not be charged for the visit.

2. Will insurance cover my visit?
Most insurance plans do not cover virtual health services at this time, however a Franciscan Virtual Urgent Care visit is a qualified medical expense and you can typically use your HSA or FSA account to pay for it. A visit invoice that you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement will be available through the web portal for your Franciscan Virtual Care account after each visit. As insurance coverage varies widely among plans, Franciscan Virtual Urgent Care cannot guarantee reimbursement.

3. How does a virtual visit with Franciscan Virtual Care work?
You can meet with one of our providers via phone or video chat. You can request video chat through the mobile app, or via our website or toll-free number.

Our website requires that JavaScript and cookies be enabled. If you are unable to access the website or experience technical difficulties, call our Patient Concierge team at 1-855-356-8053.

4. Who is eligible?
Franciscan Virtual Care is available to people of all ages located in Washington. Virtual visits are not available to those covered under a federal insurance program such as Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid or Tricare, unless you are specifically set up by your insurance plan administrator.

5. Will my primary care provider receive my visit record?
After every virtual visit, the Franciscan Virtual Care provider will write a personalized visit summary that outlines the visit, treatment recommendations and outcomes which you can chose to share with your primary care provider at the close of the visit. This visit summary is accessible at any time from your Franciscan Virtual Care account page. This visit summary will also be electronically delivered to your Franciscan Medical Group or Harrison HealthPartners primary care provider.

If you are an Apple Health user you will have the option to share important health information with your provider during your video visit. Sharing Apple Health data is optional but allows the provider to see heart rate, weight, and other health information to help them make a more accurate diagnosis .
