Really helpful for checking gui items

I'm a mobile developer and sometimes its hard to compare if previous and current screen buttons are aligned and it is (almost) what I'm looking for.

If I can request 2 things, first one would be moving top or bottom ruler positions. Moving bottom ruler in X axis, and moving top ruler in Y axis would tremendously helpful.

Second thing is a guide line visible across screen instead just on ruler itself. But second one is not much of a big deal. Thank you dear developer. ❤️

A basic but essential tool

Despite the sophistication of modern graphics/photo editor apps, there are times when it's immensely helpful to float a ruler above other open windows to get a simple measurement in pixels of on-screen objects. I have been a happy user of earlier versions of Free Ruler since around 2002 or 2003 — but although it still worked in macOS Mojave, it hadn't been updated since 2007. What a delight it was to discover that the developer rewrote the app in 2019 for compatibility with macos Catalina (and, presumably, future releases). Thank you, Pascal!

Satisified user for many years

I've been using Free Ruler for longer than I can remember, probably several decades now. It is a must-have for anyone involved with anything related to design, from desktop publishing to web and software development. Thank you Pascal for contuing to keep this software up-to-date and free all these years. I just sent a token of my appreciation via PayPal (I'm not partiularily wealthy so it's not much but long overdue... hopefully someday I can send more!). Cheers.
