The Frick Collection is housed in the former home of Gilded Age industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919). One of the great collectors of his time, Frick filled his Fifth Avenue mansion with masterpieces of Western painting, sculpture, and decorative arts, all of which became accessible to the public in 1935, when the residence became a museum.

Mr. Frick would have loved this app!

I am not able to visit the Collection so this is a wonderful way to see it. Mr. Frick would have been very pleased his collection could be seen from anywhere in the world! The detail in the works is great. Good job on the app and thank you for sharing the Collection with us all! Thank you also for maintaining the Collection and the premises so excellently!

So helpful !
They opened De Waal show at the Frick and it’s very abstract . Just to look at his installations and connect to the idea is hard . With the help of Frick app it’s much easier to understand what is the connecting thought or element since it had a few short audio comments of the artist himself about his sculptures . Very educational .

Such rich detail, treasures I can enjoy whenever I want.

The whole collection at my fingertips, even things not currently on view in the galleries. Quality of the photos is wonderful.
