Peeved Polyglot ,

Couldn’t log in. Not anonymous.

The login screen requires a phone number, however, there is no way to push return to create an account. This is an app that provides a mental health chat bot for kids. It’s not anonymous. As a parent, I wouldn’t let my kid use this because it requires a phone number. Who gets their information? Who will call them?

And this is what data can be collected:

While using our Service, we may also collect the following information: sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, citizenship, registration at place of residence and actual address, telephone number (work, mobile), details of documents on education, qualification, professional training, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, information on bonuses and compensation, information on marital status, family members, social security (or other taxpayer identification) number, office location and other data.

It is not appropriate for this kind of app to ask for social security numbers and legal agreements from a child or their family. All of the above information could be used for identity fraud.
