Fast Fruit Nutrition Information
Nutritional information can be found on all groceries in the supermarket?! But what´s with fruits? Do you know how much vitamin C the apple you are buying has or how much sugar is in an orange? FruNu Scanner solves this Problem with three simple steps:
1. Open the FruNu Scanner App
2. Point the camera at a fruit
3. Get relevant nutritional information
How it works? The FruNu scanner works with a neural network. This is trained to distinguish up to 40 fruits.

Can’t identify basic fruits
I tried it out by asking it to ID a jalapeño, acorn squash, and a pumpkin. It said the acorn squash was a date, the pumpkin was physalis with husk, and wouldn’t even detect the jalapeño.
