Description
From the award winning creators of Studycat for Schools, comes Fun French! The #1 way for kids to learn français!
From preschool and beyond, Fun French inspires children's innate love of learning with interactive games and activities.
Our bite-sized lessons will keep your child motivated while they discover a new language and build bilingual skills for a lifetime!
WHY STUDYCAT?
• Learn French, in French. All our activities focus on language immersion, which means your child won't be hearing any English. This might be confusing at first, but trust us, it's the best way to learn.
• Everyday Language. Our lessons teach words and expressions that kids can apply in their everyday lives, so they can get a head start developing their bilingual abilities.
• Get Talking Fast. With our interactive speaking challenges, kids will be encouraged to produce and speak entire words and phrases on their own! The earlier kids start their language-learning journey, the more likely they are to reach proficiency quickly.
• Vocal Variety. Our characters' voices use different tones, expressions, and accents so that kids can pick up on the subtleties of pronunciation from different speakers.
• Designed by Experts. All our activities are designed by language and early-education experts. Thoughtfully developed lessons will build your child's confidence with every step.
• Safe for Kids & Ad-Free. Parents can rest easy knowing that there are no pesky ads to distract children from their learning. All content is appropriate for ages 3 and up.
• Offline Learning. On a plane, at a restaurant, or in a park? No problem! Fun French is available for both online and offline use.

$100!!!! Am I missing something?
My 8 and 6 year old mastered these games before the free trial period ended (and they play an half hour two or three times a week). Now there is no new content. Unfortunately,I was too busy to cancel my subscription. When I purchased this subscription for $100 I thought my kids would be learning French for a year! Only 60 activities that take about 3 minutes to master? For that price there should be thousands!! Imagine paying $100 for a 60 page book! . I feel as though I have been misled and taken advantage of. I want my money back or more content.

There’s great features, okay features and features that need Improvement
The best part about it is that they don’t translate. It’s hard to find apps that don’t. The worst thing is no instructions on the games. Play instructions that explained what the object of the game is could be in English without undermining learning. A few of the games have left my five year old nearly frustrated enough to literally throw my iPad at the wall. In the middle, is that the lessons seem to focus on vocabulary rather than scripts for practical use and the verbs that go with them. Since my daughter has used Muzzy already which seems more advanced than this, maybe I should have picked age 6+ on that question even though she won’t be 6 for 2.5 months yet. Is there a way to change the age setting since I think the higher level might fit better because of her past experience with Muzzy. By the way, her feedback is “ the games don’t say how to win so you gotta spend time figuring that out first and Muzzy is more interesting because there’s a cartoon to watch and games after you watch the movie in the Muzzy theater webpage

Thanks for your feedback, we'll pass these on to the development team for future consideration. We don't currently have age settings and more advanced levels. These games are designed to be an introduction to the French language. We find that most users enjoy the challenge of working out the game requirements.
Not intuitive
A couple of the games are not intuitive for children. In one, you have to match the spoken color to a black and white image. Kids would have to guess what color the objects are. For instance, what color is the cake? It could be anything. There is a root vegetable, but not the carrot. I can’t make out what it is so we guessed on the color. Would make more sense if the image is in color as there is no need for it to be in black and white. The next, you get to paint an object. Wouldn’t be too hard, but you end up having to mix the primary colors to get the others. Not easy when you get to making brown. It took me a few tries to get to what was accepted as brown. We haven’t finished the color lessons yet but I wanted to point out the difficulties we had so far.
