Simple: Drag "Announce Batter" to mic & drop it to make your baseball better. Travel Team allows you all you need to announce your team at the game. Must have data/wifi.

Make your players feel like the big leagues with Gametime Announcer. With Walkup songs*, specialty songs and player announcements, everyone will know who is stepping up to the plate.

This version of the app is perfect for summer teams or travel teams because it only announces one team's lineup (see the Ballpark version to announce both teams).

All aspects of the game can be announced including the starting lineup, pinch hitters, courtesy or pinch runners, the score and the upcoming batters in the next inning.

The app protects from inadvertent or accidental sounds from occurring during play requiring two actions for each sound to play.

General announcements can be typed in and instantly announced to the audience. Announcements can be saved to be used each game or new messages entered on-the-fly.

Six types of specialty songs can be queued for special music to be played for homers, hit-by-pitch, mound visits, walks, special effects and pump-up or rally moments.

With our built-in song editor, you can select any portion of the song* to be used as the walkup song. The song editor can also be used to shorten the intro and/or outro of songs in the playlist. You only have a couple minutes between innings, so our software lets you get to the part of the song you want to enjoy.

The software allows for lineups with any number of batters and has designations for designated hitter, extra hitter and extra outfielder.

*all songs used in app, for walkups, specialty and playlists, must be owned or purchased through iTunes.

What’s New

Version 3.1

Completely revamped user interface and sound engine elevates this app to the next level. This travel team version is the perfect if your team has less than 18 players and you don't need to announce the other teams players (if so use our Ballpark version). The best way to test out our app, is to down the free wiffleball version of Gametime Announcer.

Add players and select walk up songs. Download your music and pick the in and out points and add that song as a walkup. Everything you can do with the Ballpark version, but limited to less than 18 total players.

WARNING: This new version does not provide access to your old player data and all players will need to be re-entered.

Can’t Add New Music

Would love to be able to have a way to have an account with Gametime so I can use the app on multiple devices. Would be able to sign in and everything be the same as it is from the original device it was created on. Also, my main issue is adding new music. I purchased new songs with iTunes and the only way I have found to get them to show up in the music list is to delete and re-add the app. I am not willing to do that and lose multiple things I already have in place the way I would like them. Not very user friendly. Have also had the issue with it freezing and closing multiple times while trying to cut a song for a player.

Best App out there

This is the App you are looking for if you want to hype your team and the fans. You can announce your whole line up with the drag of a button at the beginning of the game. It worked the whole weekend through 5 games with out any problems. Even received compliments from the other teams we played asking how to get this app. Can’t wait to use it again and every time my son’s select team plays. This app is the best one out there hands down. The next similar app isn’t even a close second. I would rate 10 stars if I could. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Don’t use

I used this app for awhile but they changed it and it is terrible now. It’s a shame too bc it was good before and now has a laundry list of issues. They lost a lot of users and it shows in their reviews. My experience is that the free version doesn’t work at all and I’m skeptical of the paid version bc of my bad experience with this one. It’s terrible! It used to be simple to use. It’s more difficult now but even when you figure it out it still doesn’t work. Wish I could give it zero stars. I never leave reviews but this one needed to be left. Save your time and don’t use this.
