I was skeptical about this game just like most other app games because I feel they aren't built to keep your interest very long, rather just something to entertain for a brief time but for me this game is wonderful! Now saying that I have never played to actual board game before but I have this a try because I love the ability to build and customize things in games and that's at the heart of this game: building you ship the way you want it to be; it can be frustrating when the pieces you need are taken but hey it makes it so much rewarding when you actually find them and build a great ship! The gameplay itself looks to be be true to the board game (I compared the gameplay to videos of ppl playing the actual game) and can last just minutes or hours depending on your game setup; sometimes this game can be challenging and other times it's a walk in the park because of the variables each game that always change. Overall I love this game and recommend it to anyone who has played the board game or for anyone who loves science-fiction and for anyone who enjoys customization in their games!!!

I had never heard of the board game before (but then again I haven't played one in 15 years) but I was looking for a space/strategy game like Starbase Orion or similar. While browsing, this game popped up. It had 5 reviews and 5 stars, so I was a bit skeptical at $4.99. After looking at it, I said "EHH why not?". BEST MOVE EVER. While this is nothing like a 4x game, I am so glad I took that chance because this is the most fun I've had on an iOS game (and I own about 70). It has a killer campaign and the multiplayer is awesome. You could play this until the end of time and it still be just as exciting as the first time. It is addicting as all get out too! I somehow sat on the toilet with my phone for 40 mins today before I realized "Hey, you should move.." 😂😂 If your on the fence, or want a 5 star game, get this ASAP! You won't regret it, unless you end up late to work or something LOL

I love the board game and jumped right into the iOS version. Campaign is fun, and online play is great. However, the app crashes pretty regularly. There has been a time or two where an online game does something wrong such that my phone says I'm in second, but my opponent's phone shows that they are in second. Then when a decision card come up the game basically freezes because we are both waiting for the other to make a decision that were not being told to make. Also a little annoyed that I had to buy the pocket version for my phone and the full version for my iPad. That is preventing me from getting the expansion, as I don't want to pay for it twice.

We currently have an online Green glow mission, started by Vlysandor, with also hackenbacker, conmanjoe, and nitro9 playing. All claim that the game itself has finished in the lobby screen (when in fact, we have just started the stage 3 flight, having already completed a stage 2 flight). But when we open the game, it appears to be nitro9’s turn, and nitro9 herself is unable to turn over any tiles. This way, her 3-day reserve countdown clock before being dropped from the game is ticking, but we can’t do anything about it. Please take a look and fix, thanks!-keen trucker

lol at the review on top tgat said you should be able to “buy a prebuilt ship.” I think you miss the point of the game. You’re supposed to build ridiculous ships. the board game is a scramble for tiles irl.That being said, why did the app makers think it would be fun to pad a really fast game with slow flavor text cut scenes and really slow redundant animations? yes there’s a FF button that sorta works...but it would be nice to have the option to play the actual game. also a drag that we cannot quit and restart where we left off without having to dreg through all the padding.

I was going to leave a very nice review, but after telling the game I'd leave one later, it asked me after every...single...thing. Constantly. So 1 star for that. 5 stars for the actual game though.Support contacted me, gana send them a bug report on this issue. So they're addressing it, which is god enough for me. Still leaving the review up as is (with the addendum) but I've changed the rating to 5 stars, which is what the gameplay portion of the game deserves.
