Such a great game - just some few suggestions

First off, when I saw an ad for this, I thought, “Ugh, just another coloring game.” Then I saw it had a story with it, to improve a house. I love coloring, and I love house improvement games. I’m tired of the Match-3 genre for a story. I’m so glad they incorporated coloring instead. Not only that - the pictures are beautiful and seem like the artist put a lot of time into them, and they have a part in the game! I love the graphics, I love the option to choose the character’s response, and the graphics are even better in my opinion than the mainstream games.

I do have a suggestion, however. And it’s one big problem I have with the game. When I first played, I wanted to play more. But, it costs energy for each coloring page. I think the energy aspect should be modified.

I get, the owner wants the consumer (us) to want to come back for more. But with how much the energy costs for each picture, how little the energy storage we have, how we can only watch 1 ad for 20 energy then have to spend coins, and $8 a week for a subscription (?!), it almost feels like it costs too much to play the game. If I could watch an ad for 20 energy and be able to restore my energy in minutes and not hours, that would be awesome. I would play a lot more than I do now. That way, I can play more if I want to, and they get money from ad revenue. It’s a win/win where both sides compromise.

Solid game but has its faults

I’ve been playing this game a little over a year now and it is definitely one of the better coloring games on the marketplace right now. The pictures are beautiful and it’s super satisfying the way the game itself plays - for the most part. Their most recent event in game was the Seasons square thing: you color a bunch of different pics for different town square rewards. My MAIN issue with this event is the chest aspect of getting new pics - I saved up my coins 3 times to 2400 to purchase a gold chest of pictures (which can be a tedious thing to do and can take several days especially if you don’t pay for power ups which I don’t) and the amount of repeat photos I got was almost embarrassing. I barely got any variety of pics in the chest and I ended up being able to only color 58 of the EIGHTY (yeah 80) pics and didn’t get any rewards for it despite all the time and coins I put into it. I was super disappointed in the event and would have been happier if it had given me a more variety of photos to unlock - or make the photos cheaper in terms of less paint drops to use to unlock. The game is fun but it almost feels like a grind sometimes to unlock the nice stuff, and this in turn makes me feel like the developers want you to spend as much money as possible to make it “easier”.

Amazing game that needs a couple of things

This is hands-down the best color-by-number game I’ve ever played. The pictures are beautiful and the home design aspect is very fun. I’ve been playing multiple times daily since I first downloaded the game and I plan to continue to do so.

However, I think the game could be greatly improved in a few ways. One, the amount of energy available versus the amount it costs to do one painting is too small—this issue could be fixed by making the energy bar bigger (even 150 max energy would be a huge improvement) and/or by making the cost for paintings lower (maybe a cap at 30 rather than 40?). Also, the cost for a subscription is far too high. $7.99 a week is a prohibitively high cost that I—and, I imagine, many other players—can’t possibly afford. Until the cost is lowered (or, preferably, a one-time payment option is added), I won’t be buying a subscription. Finally, I’d liked a way to be able to save images that have been finished without having to complete them again (maybe from the gallery view?).

I think the beauty of the artworks and the joy of the home design portion of this game are worth playing despite these issues, but there’s definitely room for improvement. With a couple of small fixes, this game is worth 5 stars for sure!
