The app provides free online access to millions of documents: books, newspapers and periodicals, manuscripts, letters and private archives, maps, illustrations, posters, photographs, music scores, video and audio recordings.

As if you were there -comme si vous y étiez - BUT book downloads still don’t work (“Problème d’accès aux services de Gallica. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement”) Maybe that will be fixed in a future update? JUST UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION :-(

I just want to say Merci Beaucoup! I use gallica everyday. One of the best websites (app) in the world for students, teachers, researchers, Journalists... and any curious mind. From Haiti love! 🙌🏾🇭🇹
Doesn’t work anymore
Since the most recent OS update this app crashes upon opening. It was a little buggy beforehand but helpful nevertheless. I hope it gets fixed soon!
