Gamebook Adventures returns for its fourth outing in the critically acclaimed series of newly imagined interactive fantasy gamebooks in which you, the reader, control the direction of the story! Along with a realistic dice-based battle system to fight creatures, a great story and beautiful artwork, Revenant Rising will give you many hours of gamebook adventuring! Please note that you do not need to have played any of the previous gamebooks in order to play this.
"The mighty city of Falavia, the military backbone of Orlandes, is under attack from an army lead by a man claiming to be a God. How did this come to pass you ask yourself? You're sure it all started as some innocent adventure in search of treasure but somehow it turned into a nightmare. Also, why are people staring at you strangely? It’s not as if you look like you've recently been brought back from the dead or something. Oh yes, that's right. You remember now... "
"Arguably the best of the Gamebook Adventure series released so far by Tin Man Games, Revenant Rising combines polished gameplay mechanics with an original storyline, flinging you between the world of the living and the dead and back again. Stylish graphics only add to the atmosphere to be enjoyed both on the iPhone and the iPad." - Touch My Apps
"My favourite examples so far though are the iPad and iPhone-compatible Gamebook Adventures, a series of lovingly crafted and extremely well-written interactive fantasy novels. It's surprisingly engrossing stuff, the economically written narrative packing in masses of detail, while rattling out a pacy, involving story." - The Guardian
"The true gem, and the reason these are next iteration choose your own adventure books, is the dice component in the overall story." - 148Apps

Hello tinman games!
I have to say first of all I absolutely love your books and this one is definently your best so far I loved the story the music and especially the new artwork it all really set the mood! When I bought your first gamebook I was worried it wouldn't live up to it's price tag but I was completely surprised and have bought all of your books after that with no regard to the price! I was born long after the gamebook fad but have always loved books so when I stumbled upon your books and the fighting fantasy books I fell in love! So please please please don't stop your amazing work and let's all cross our fingers that gamebooks might come back in style eh!
It may not be the most profitable form of intertainment but someone can only play so many mindnumbing games before going braindead so please follow your passion and I'll throw as much financial support your way as I possible can best of luck to you
Another amazing gamebook adventure!
Took advantage of the sale and this was the only one from the series I was missing. I love the quality of the Gamebook Adventures series and have been a fan since the first one. Great job Tin Man Games!
I just finished playing this gamebook adventure and I must say that it is one of the most enjoyable in the series. The story had a few good twists and a nice change of scenery as opposed to the blander dungeon crawling ones. I would say if you had to choose only one of the gamebook adventures, then this would be the one to choose! =]
I loved the choose your own adventure books growing up so I took a chance on this while it's on sale for $.99. I have spent a few hours with it, and while the writing is well done (though a bit repetitious, how many corridors and wooden doors can you go through before you get bored?) I find the ending to be horribly frustrating. Even with pretty good stats, gear and full health it is impossible to get through the last fights at the end of the game. It's all luck and the NPC rolls always seem to beat mine even though given my stats I should have the advantage easily. Nonetheless, I keep reloading and retrying over and over and over, which I've been doing for the last hour, just hoping for a bit of luck on the rolls. I have now given up as the computer is clearly cheating on the rolls. Not fun at all to just reload from a bookmark and flip through pages I've already read to spam the dice and be defeated over and over again. Can't recommend until the dice rolls are more fair.
