Gather is the simplest way to get your crew together for virtual social events that go beyond the Zoom happy hour.
Invite your friends or family to a rousing round of our newest game, Says Who--the game that truly tests how well you know each other. Write your own questions (or use the ones provided) and see if you can guess who said what.
Or, with just a couple of taps, easily schedule and invite friends to creative gatherings: college friend coffee chats, 80s dance parties, BYOB book clubs, or random Wednesday night hangouts-on-the-couch. Create a gathering that works just for your friend group or browse ideas from the community.
Gather is made just for virtual social gatherings, with a focus on simplicity. That way, you can spend less time figuring out how to get everyone on a video chat and more time actually talking and playing together.

Used Gather for the first time earlier today and loved it, especially how the layout shifts each time a new person joins the call and how your own photo is really small instead of taking up screen space. Audio and video all worked perfectly and controls were intuitive. It feels more personal/informal than zoom and is better designed than hangouts so I will definitely keep suggesting it for future group calls. Thanks for making this!!
AirPods not usable with Gather?
Super handy app, but the audio from hangout sessions are just playing from my phone speakers, and isn’t being sent to my AirPods. It’s not a pairing issue, the airpods work with every other app that makes a noise on my phone. I haven’t tried this with my phone volume off, maybe that would help? It still seems weird though.
FYI your Send Feedback button doesn’t do anything, otherwise I would have just written this there.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for providing feedback and using Gather! We have just released an updated version (1.4.0) that has fixed the airpod issue. We have also fixed the in-app feedback link with this update but you can always reach us at email@example.com with any feedback.
Truly the simplest video chat!
Wanted to host a virtual happy hour for my family but knew my parents would be confused by zoom. Tried this and everyone got on the chat within a minute. So easy and I like how the developers seem open to feedback as they make the product more robust. A must-have for people in quarantine.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
