Treasure Hunters take note: Gem is your North Star

I have maxed out my eBay Saved Searches, and this app allows me to add more Saved Searches. It also helps me catch finds that I would have normally missed on eBay for whatever reason. And this has happened way more than once. There are some treasures I have been searching for decades that Gem has found in a matter of weeks. I love how it combs through sites I don’t have the time to visit every day. Or maybe didn’t even know about? And I don’t get a bad case of the FOMOs like I used to.

How to make a Five Star App even better? 1) Please give us even more searches. Eighty searches is generous, but I would be willing to pay for a Premium Membership to get more. 2) Provide users with a list of all the stores the app does search so we can recommend others. 3) Add popular sites like Mercari and possibly The Real Real to the Gem search base.

There are hundreds of independent online stores included in our search, and the list grows every week. We can consider increasing the number of new item alerts and adding a source directory. Hands down the best way to find Vintage🏆

As a seller and buyer of vintage clothing, this is my go to for searching for vintage. I love how specific you can make your search and that it comes back with exactly what you’re looking for and not a bunch of non applicable results. The filters let you see size/price/decade/location results from various popular vintage sites (Etsy, EBay and more) and the app lets you save listings and shows you the shop names which is great as a seller as it’s yet another way to drive business to your brand.

Another favorite thing about the app is that it has an editorial section featuring interviews with vintage fashion icons, tips and tricks from stylists to seamstresses. It’s a perfect one stop shop for seeing and hearing from the diverse people that help vintage thrive👍🏾✨👏🏾

Game-changer. This is what buyers and sellers need! This really brings all the best items right to you. I buy a lot of vintage and used for myself, and I sell (which requires research on comps for pricing), and this app is just *the best*. It saves so much time vs. using a search engine and many multiple platforms—who can keep up with all the places vintage is sold nowadays? Gem does it for you and saves so much time. Some of the website searches are cluttered with a lot of irrelevant stuff, but this never is. It lets you can find what you want now and set up alerts if a new listing comes up. This app is really helping sustainable fashion reach more people more effectively! Their customer reps are also sometimes in online vintage groups, and they are always so sweet.
