Having regular glitches

works great until it doesnt. If you use Favor Resolution mode at somepoint the game play becomes really glitchy and unplayable, switching back to Favor Preformance mode helps but the quality isnt as great. Also i have noticed that the backround sides of the app itself becomes at times a big spam looking ad for Genki and it takes a while to remove but it eventually does. Not sure why this is the case since you pay for the device and such.

Simple to use, but maybe too simple?

Have always loved this app for being plug-n-play simple (OBS is too complex for my needs), but have struggled with it a bit ever since the Shadowcast 2 series came out. Number 1 problem for me is that there's no easy way to swap between both of my Shadowcast 2 devices (normal and pro) in the app - I have to unplug one for the other to show up, though both are plugged into my computer. Also, the version of the app that was available on Genki's website worked better for me than the App Store version, for some reason.

I was hit by the Sonoma gray screen issue - could hear the console, but not see it - on both 1.3 versions (website and App Store) of the app. The recent update to 1.3.2 to fix the gray screen worked for me to show the video, but now I can't hear anything! And there's no way in the App Store version to select Shadowcast 2 Pro as the microphone, although I can do that in the website's version (but there I can't see the video because it's still 1.3).

Truly bizarre and I hope Genki work it out because otherwise these devices and their app have worked great for me since the original Shadowcast.

Awesome, but I wish there were a few additional options

Until recently, I had a display that the button broke on. My HDMI inputs were unusable, so this was an awesome solution. However, I recently picked up an Ultrafine 5K, which has no additional inputs - another great use case for the Genki! However, I really wish there was an option to resize the main window to 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%. In-between sizes make the picture blurrier without the best experience, so I often keep it at the default window size. I also wish there was an in-between option for picture settings - a "balanced" picture setting that sits somewhere between "best quality" and "best performance." For fast games on the Switch, best quality introduces a lot of lag, while best performance looks the worst. I'd be okay with a bit more lag if it meant better quality, but I don't really want to go so far as "best quality" either.

Otherwise, it's a great app, especially when paired with the Nintendo Switch.
