Genomapp crosses your raw data file with reliable scientific sources to obtain the maximum information about your DNA and show it in a simple way.

Have you had your DNA tested? Did you know that your genome has a lot to say? Would you like to know more about your DNA? It is easier than you think.

If you had your DNA tested by genetic test providers such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, FamilyTreeDNA (FTDNA), MyHeritage, Genes for Good, Living DNA, Geno 2.0, TellmeGen or VitaGene you have access to a file with your DNA raw data.

Genomapp analyzes your raw data file to extract information of interest. We have the most extensive list of conditions from scientific official sources including Breast Cancer, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. We also have markers in tumor suppressor genes like BRCA1/2, PTEN and P53.

If you are tracing your ancestry through genetic testing kits you can also submit your raw data file to Genomapp to get the most out of your data.

*** What does Genomapp offer?

When you process your raw data file with Genomapp it associates your genotype with a list of conditions. Currently Genomapp offers the following reports (4 of them are free of charge and 3 are provided upon payment).

* Complex Diseases (cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's…)

* Inherited Conditions (your genotype markers that could cause monogenic diseases and offspring possibilities of being affected or being carriers of a monogenic disorder)

* Methylation (conditions related to genes that play a role in methylation mechanisms like folate or homocysteine metabolism)

* Pharmacological response (the most probable drug responses based on your genetic information)

* Traits (specific characteristics of an organism: hair color, muscle performance...)

* Observable signs (observable physical signs or symptoms associated with unhealthy processes or diseases)

* Blood Groups (your genetic markers associated with blood groups)

*** Your DNA test provider is not on our list?

We are always adding support for new DNA test providers. As well as files from the most well known DTC genetic testing companies such as 23andMe or AncestryDNA, Genomapp supports raw data files with VCF format (with marker identifiers annotated) and files with a specified scheme. Currently large VCF raw data files from WES/WGS are not compatible with Genomapp.

*** Our Database

Genomapp's search engine allows you to search our database of more than 9500 conditions, 12400 genes and 183700 markers.

*** Easy to understand

Genomapp displays information of your DNA markers in a friendly and easy to understand manner. Export your personalized genetic reports to PDF and take them everywhere.

*** Privacy

Privacy is a main concern for Genomapp. Genomapp analyzes your genetic test to give you the maximum information of your DNA protecting your privacy at every moment. Your data remains in your device and is not stored or uploaded to our servers.

*** Not Diagnostic

Please note that Genomapp is not for diagnostic use, it does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for it. Consult with your health specialist if you have any question.

*** Ready to start?

Genomapp features a Demo mode. If you want to try the app or learn how it works you can access it and test a fully functional version of the app.

Most straightforward 3rd party interpretation of DNA data

I wasn't sure this app would be worth it for me, but it was. If you want something that will use plain language (and graphs) to explain the implications of your SNPs and alleles, try the app.

Another reviewer suggested Promethease. For me, it's not an either/or. I got my Promethease report and thought I understood what I was looking at. Looking at the same data through this app was an aha moment. Money well spent.

Per Genomapp Not a DX Tool🤣

While the company clearly states the reports are not for medical diagnosis, it should be somewhat accurate, or follow through on that they are advertising. I’m not sure what testing methods they use to extract/decipher the raw dna, but I found it to be highly inAccurate! I had already had my dna tested professionally tested and had an idea of what he results should be and this test did not represent any correlating results from a professional test! The only thing I found they got correct was my blood group!🤣
Edit* while Genomapp was prompt in its generic rebuttals (as so noted on many users who dared give a less than stellar review) along w/ it’s snarky final comment(way to keep it professional Genomapp🤣). I still will keep to my original comment that things did not align w/ a professional gene testing & people should understsnd Genomapp not a medical dx tool(which they state themselves...apparently I’m not allowed to say that though🙄). Maybe if I paid money into the ones they charged for, I’d see more matches but not going to be doing that after the free intro was lacked correlation. Finally, I understand blood type is not projected, I mistyped but meant the 1 “blood group” that was listed, which you do determine “blood groups” as it’s part of the free section...am I wrong?

Developer Response ,

Dear Janna0913, Genomapp is an information retrieval tool that crosses your DNA raw data file with our database of published markers related to conditions. More than three years of experience guarantee our services. By the way, Genomapp does not determine Blood Groups.

Need more public language friendly and

Provided good information, but the language design only for scientists or people with knowledge of this specific terminology! Also references on sites with same terminology. I think it will be better if explained in more simple language and refer to more scientific sites!
Highlights need more clearly, smiley face is clear sad face not enough so is third one, need more clear explanations for sad and crazy face, also it will be nice if we can print list for necessary tests what we could show to doctors (with language what doctors and lab workers understand), and/ or refer to other organizations what can do this tests!!!
Good, but need improvements!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your comment. We really appreciate your suggestions and we will take them into consideration. Kind Regards.
