I love the app so far after only a few days of having it, it’s very helpful in finish finding items from all over! I would suggest some issues with searching be fixed, the page reloads before I get to scroll, and I would hope you’re able to add more than 1 filter for sizes in the future. I would also love to see the accounts of Gently sellers, when I find something I like I want to see what else the seller has.

Amazing idea, but has a long ways to go

To be clear, I absolutely love the idea behind this app. As someone who frequently buys and sells things online, it is so nice to finally have a source where everything is aggregated all together.

That said, searching, and filtering for items is nearly impossible on the app, as it is right now. desperately need more filter options (as “AND” filters), especially for size and category! We’re just basics that should be there already, honestly.

Second, whenever I search for something on the iOS app, and try to save the search as I would on the desktop, the search doesn’t save, and I am not alerted, when added.

Third, it feels a little bit shady that the options that are being sold on Gently as “returnable” are really just options posted on other resale websites with a mark-up added.

Fourth, there seems to be a bug when a user opens the most recent version of the app for the first time, as I’m seeing blank white screen display after the initial animation shows and it doesn’t load beyond that white screen. I even force quit and experience the same thing when I opened it for a second time.

I work in tech, so I really just intend to provide this feedback as constructive criticism, because, like I mentioned, I think this app is a genius idea. It just has a little bit of a ways before it really meets its potential.

Hi! Thanks for all the feedback. We, similar to Poshmark, don't support filtering by multiple categories or brands but hope to add that at some point! Your searches should be saving, we can help you with that. We at Gently provide the only site with every secondhand listing and returns -- we have to make money on that service, and compared to paying retail prices consumers save 50-80% on average.
