GeoGebra Classic 6 4+

Fabulous App, One Issue

I love Geogebra, and appreciate beyond measure the incredible capabilities provided to its users free of charge.

The one issue I feel is worth reporting relates to how the app interacts with Mac Screen Recordings. I often record video lectures for my students. Very often, the screen recording crashes if I open a graph on the Geogbra Classic app. On the day I posted this review, I lost up to 4 hours of lecture content due to this glitch. If the development team can resolve this issue, I'd be greatly appreciate it.

Not a fan of the offline version saving online

I love geogebra: I have been singing its praises for years. But unless I have not figured out something pretty basic, it seems the in V6 I can no longer save files to my desktop, even with the downloaded "offline" version. If I am mistaken please enlighten me; if not, can the save options be enlarged to allow for desktop saving?

6 "classic" ... not so much

One of the nicest things about GeoGebra 5 classic, and why I continue to use it, is the ability to create custom tools. This is a great option that I use with my college geometry classes.
It doesn't look like classic 6 does this, nor does it have the various drop down menu options that I always use - in particular, the change settings/default settings. I know there are still many menu options in the upper right hand corner, but those aren't really all the same. Sometimes newer is not better!!!
