GetGreen is the mobile platform that helps you make an impact on climate change through your everyday habits! Our goal is to empower individuals to transform industries and the environment through collective individual actions.
The Pew Research Center shows that 80% of people want to make changes in how they work and live to reduce the effects of global climate change, but not everyone knows where to start. GetGreen offers various levels of entry to assist everyone ranging from beginners to experts.
Changing old habits can be difficult, so GetGreen can help you target specific areas in your life to suggest eco-friendly actions and new habits to adopt to help fight the climate crisis. Helpful notifications keep you on track until the new, sustainable habits become your normal routine.
Each action you complete earns “leaves” which represent approximately 10 pounds of CO2 diverted from reaching the atmosphere. Those leaves give you an easy way to track your progress and see the impact of all of your actions.
GetGreen features:
· 400+ actions ranging from easy to hard to help you build up to a more sustainable lifestyle
· Action categories include health & wellness, food & dining, around the house, workplace, and more to inspire change in all aspects of life
· Set goals for yourself to earn badges by completing specific goals such as Emissions Expert and Home Energy Saver
· Identify and support sustainable merchants and products that are committed to reducing the impact on the environment

I’ve always cared about the environment but never believed I could make an impact. I didn’t know where to begin until I got the GetGreen app. It’s like a cheat sheet in my pocket. It has a ton of ideas and activities I can take right in my home to avoid carbon going into the atmosphere.
