getquin - Portfolio Tracker 4+

i have used many many portfolio tracking tools from the app store, and after using getquin for 10 minutes, it already takes the cake.

the UI is very beautiful (important for me) and intuitive, not loud and it is pretty simple to understand.

the information they give you is good, and the dividend tab is very very helpful.

getquin has implemented automatic portfolio tracking. this is a huge HUGE improvement over other manual-add position apps.

i dont have premium, maybe i will end up getting it but for now i cannot justify the price.

They advertise real time tracking. Not so for all tickers. First a ticker needs to be in their German database. Second, for a good part of all my tickers, the “supposed to be” live graph lags days of data. On February 1st I had graphs showing data until January 17 or 21 or things like that. This is more than unacceptable. Their support people say the info for some tickers which don’t show live information should be from previous day (they advertise real time), but, it’s not the case. They say EoD (end of day), but, It lags several days. I think things may work well for individual stocks but not for funds like ETFs and CEFs. Many investors with focus on dividend tracking won’t be happy as the highest dividends come from many ETFs and CEFs. The app has a good concept. If they will fix that, it’s going to be great. But, one can not use an app that will just partially do the job. Otherwise, you never know the correct total of your investments. Also, it’s tough because you cannot make a decision of trading if you don’t know the current price of an item. I wish I could display a few pictures here to show what happens. I wanted to love this app as it has some very good features. But, it was rather frustrating.

As our support team already mentioned we use as real time data source the L&S Exchange in germany.
If your security is not listed there, we try to get the next available data from the home stock exchange, which means, that we might get End of Day data. For some stock exchanges this changes to "End of Week" data, as we can´t receive higher update cycles.

We rely on external data sources and if something is not refreshing on time, we contact our data provider, so they can check it.

Perfect for Any Investor! I've been using this app to track my portfolio and dividends and it's fantastic! The interface is user-friendly, and I love the analysis functionalities. The dividend calendar is especially useful. Highly recommend for managing investments efficiently!
