Welcome to the narrated driving tour of the Battle of Gettysburg, the most important battle of the Civil War!
Explore Gettysburg, one of the most important battles in one of the bloodiest conflicts in American history: the Civil War. Here, Union forces staged a nearly impossible defense against Confederate attackers--and won! Walk in the footsteps of Civil War soldiers, re-live the battle strategies of the key Gettysburg generals, and embark on an adventure that brings this historic three-day battle to life.
Follow the Official National Park Service’s Auto Tour route from the convenience and flexibility of your own car. As you drive, audio stories will automatically pop up and start playing.
As you journey through the battlefield, you’ll also journey through time — following the harrowing events of the 3-day battle, as the two generals tried to outsmart and outmaneuver the other. You’ll learn about the bravery and humanity of individual soldiers. Best of all, you’ll visit Little Round Top, Pickett’s Charge, and the site of President Lincoln’s historic Gettysburg Address.

Ratings and Reviews
I have an iPhone XR and the Gettysburg Driving Tour app and Gettysburg Story app did not work for me when I tried to start the audio tour in Gettysburg. The issue was the navigation feature didn’t work (i.e. the applicable tour stop audio didn’t start playing automatically while driving despite enabling location services). I frantically downloaded this app and it worked just as I was hoping! Save your time from downloading the other apps even though they have more reviews. I just got back from Gettysburg and this app made my trip really special. Thanks to the app developers for delivering on what they promised!

Great Ghost Tour
February 2021: We did the Ghost Tour, it did take about 3 hours as it said. We found it very interesting and enjoyable. Definitely worth the download. The GPS functionality was spot on, and the stories were riveting. I don’t know if it’s possible to actually note on the map where some of the locations in the audio are, so you know where exactly to look. That’s the only suggestion I had, since I don’t know which compass direction I’m looking, or if there’s more than 1 building you’re near/viewing.
Update: the last few months (since late summer 2021) I can’t even get the app to open. It flashes the Lincoln pic, then crashes. Yes, I update my apps so please don’t tell me to update and it’ll be ok. It is updated. Running iOS 15 now I think, but the app stopped working before with the iOS 14. Please fix as I have paid for some of the included tours and now I can’t use them.

Thank you! So thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the Gettysburg Ghost tour! We will be working on your suggestions. Thanks for the review..
Update: please delete the entire app, redownload, go to the menu, and hit “Restore”. All purchased tours should reappear, and be fully updated to the latest versions. If that doesn’t work, use the Contact Us button in the menu and we will help in more detail (we’re available nearly 24/7).
We downloaded this app to take our family of five around the Gettysburg battlefield and it was amazing! The directions were easy to follow and the stories were interesting and gave a clear understanding of the history of the battle. We loved the GPS enabled stories so we didn’t have to worry about hitting pause and play at the right time. By doing our own tour, as opposed to a bus tour, we were able to stop where we wanted, take as much time as we wanted at different stops and even pause for lunch. This was a great way to see the Gettysburg battlefield!
