Way better than NH app…
… but it is quite annoying to be required to update the app after every new update in the day of the launch. It just happened to me, I was traveling abroad with limited data plan, no wifi nearby. Unless is a critical security update (which was not never described on the release notes) or the running version is too old, this is a very non-user-friendly thing to do.
Worst Hotel App
I just booked a Omni Hotel in San Antonio and I wanted to keep track of my awards and stay, so the customer service person told me to download the app. The first issue it was hard to find the app because the app name makes no sense “Discovery” that has nothing to do with Omni Hotel. Second issue it wouldn’t pull up my membership. Third issue I created a new one and thought I could look up my reservation and that is not an option. First time I’ve seen this in a hotel app. Fourth issue I tried to book another Omni hotel and where you choose the nights you want to stay are blank!!! What the heck the app developer needs to be fired and start over with a new app. I’m not going to get a fifth issue because I’m deleting the app. Don’t waste your time until the company takes the app serious.
I can't seem to have my Discovery credit applied to my booking
How is it that my D250 credit I wanted to use before it expires did not get credited to my new booking for Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club? I've booked my stay for 3 nights from Monday, May 27th - Thursday, May 30th, 2024!
Please advise what my Discovery Dollars are good for.
