Gift Exchange Lite
Ratings & Reviews
The help documents make reference to things this app doesn't do but the app description claimsto do. As someonewho has never used this app before, it was very confusing. It should be more clear about what the capabilities are that separate the lite version from the paid version. I'm not convinced I'll be ponying up any cash based on what I've seen because I'm not exactly sure what I'd be getting.
We did a seven person drawing. It was easy and just took a few minutes to get setup. I like the notification to AirPrint printer option.
This app works, but it is so confusing. I’ve actually used it it for several years now, and every year it takes me about 15 minutes to figure out what I’m supposed to do. That being said: it does work!
Not sure if I missed something in the set up, but once I created my group add the participants and email addresses, the notification emails emails were sent to me to send out. So now I know who’s exchanging with who. Was hoping it be a surprise- that’s why I downloaded the app. Otherwise I could have the drawn names myself.
Developer ResponseGift Exchange Lite is the free version which uses the native iOS send method to send the notifications. The send mail screen will show for each message. You may be able to cover part of the screen as you send each notification so you do not see the names drawn.
The grouping feature is really nice to keep families from getting each other's names.
Received email but my match is: BLANKDoesn't work
