What is the GIN System? More importantly, what can it do for your organization?
Quite simply, the GIN System is the most effective, comprehensive and user-friendly communication tool available to organizations of all shapes and sizes. The GIN System is your interactive dashboard - file sharing, e-mailing, text messaging, discussion boards, instant messaging, announcements, questions, a calendar and much more are integrated into an easy-to-use internal website, and now, available on your iPhone.
Study Hours, a new feature, allows for the tracking of hours while in specific geolocation (i.e. chapter house, library).
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
We are working towards making the GIN app a better experience.

Ratings and Reviews
Great for members nightmare for officers.
As a member it simplifies a lot of things like meeting or event check ins and keeping track of points. But as an officer, make sure to do everything from a computer because whoever developed the mobile app was incompetent. Any time I post an event from my phone, the time is set to 11 pm. And if you try to fix it it just won’t work or something worse will happen. Today I was actually able to change the time on my phone. But it also managed to repeat the event on every Thursday until the end of time. On top of that the UI a year and a half after the release of the iPhone X still hasn’t been update to fit the full screen. Seriously just use your computer for anything more than checking the calendar, checking in to events, and checking points.
Could use work...a lot of work.
From the log in crash upon opening the app from background activity, to completely not working this app could use work. My group started using it this semester and most us don’t want to pay for another one because of how buggy it is. There are even several members of the group thinking of writing a clone of this, and making it better for internal use due to the bugs seen.
All of us are technical minded and in school for technical degrees, and most of us have not seen an app worse than this one. We don’t even use all the features. My suggestion is get a better development cycle, let groups customize it more to their group via modules the president can turn on and off, customize UI to the group, and most importantly fix the bugs.
This app is the definition of something that was thrown together last minute. It never works. It always logs me out, won’t load at all, shuts down, won’t sync to my calendar, won’t show events, won’t scan QR check ins, just to name a few. This never works at all for my whole chapter simultaneously. We’re required to use it and it’s the worst thing that could ever be required for my chapter. This app is worthless and for as much money as I pay for a sorority, you’d think they’d be able to afford an app that consistently works. I would give this 0 stars. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. Especially if they’re actually trying to do thing.
