GIST 17+

I love this app! I love online shopping, but it can be difficult at times to trust certain reviews and products. With GIST, I am able to follow my friends and family whom I trust and value their opinions on all different products! My favorite part of the app is that it includes a diverse group of products and users! It also makes online shopping more easy and fun! I am able to swipe through the app and click on different products that will bring me directly to the store, rather than having to scroll through every product on an online store! It really makes shopping for ANY product more fun and engaging!

First day of use: The app is very easy to understand. There is definitely room for improvement, but overall, it does what it should. So far, my only complaint is that I can’t connect my Yahoo email, which is what I use for online shopping; not my Gmail account.
Day 2: I found out that you can search for products! This is a great feature bc you can see what people have to say about a certain product. I think it does need some touch ups bc some companies name the same product different names. I did a search for “Supergoop” sunscreen, and I lot found one match, but after searching “sunscreen” I found so many more matches for that sunscreen.

I'm someone who loves visiting my friends' homes for the first time because it's so interesting/illuminating to see how they decorate their space. What we buy most definitely says something about us -- and GIST brings that feeling to a social platform!

It's fun to see what my friends (and the general public) are buying, and a great way to get real recommendations. Personally, I get excited to GIST my own products as well! I like seeing all the things I've bought in the past in one place and noticing how I've grown and changed over the years.
