givebackRx is a new pharmacy discount card that gives you savings of up to 80% at over 65,000 pharmacies across the U.S. In addition, we make donations from charities that members select from the growing givebackRx Charity Network (including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Foodshare, Yale CORE, and others). You can make purchases using our prescription medication-specific coupons or use our free Silver Card for all your medications.

There are three ways to save:
Free Coupons: Search for your medication and print out your free coupon. Take it to over 65,000 pharmacies and receive the discount automatically. Purchases are anonymous without a membership, and non-member donations donations are directed to the givebackRx Charity of the Month.
Free Silver Discount Card: Sign up for a free Silver Card to save across all of your medications.
Free Charity-Specific Discount Card: Anyone can save using the charity-specific discount card. Just navigate to the card under “Charities” within the app. Select your favorite charity and show the card to your pharmacist. When the pharmacist inputs your card number, you receive savings automatically and the charity benefits from a donation. Your purchases will remain anonymous and receipts are not shared online.
Does my pharmacy participate?

We have over 65,000 pharmacies in our network. Those include local pharmacies and national chains. If you would like to see participating pharmacies near you, please visit our website at https://www.givebackrx.com/pharmacy_near_me to view our growing list of partners.

How do I save money?
Just display the coupon, Silver Card, or charity-specific card to your pharmacist. If you are using an online pharmacy, enter the information where it asks for your member number, pharmacy group number, and bin number. We take care of the rest! See the price drop and your savings increase. You will leave the pharmacy knowing that you got a good deal and did a good thing for charities at the same time.

Why do pharmacists like givebackRx more?
givebackRx was created by clinicians who wanted to help patients save money on prescription medications. They know that non-profit organizations across America need more help now than ever. So instead of focusing on making more money for investors, we give pharmacies a fair price, make lower margins on the transaction, and give a portion of proceeds of every sale to charities. We believe that “doing good is good for business,” so we help pharmacists by giving them more customers. And in turn, customers empower their community by giving to charities using the givebackRx card. Physicians can even select their favorite charity discount card and offer it to patients as well.

Do all purchases generate a giveback charity donation?
Yes. For coupons on our site, a portion of every purchase is donated to the givebackRx Charity of the Month. For Silver Card purchases, users select the charity that they would like to receive a donation. Users make the purchase, givebackRx takes care of the rest!

Awesome App!

I love this. Saving money AND charity give back! It was easy to use, loaded it on my phone while in line at the pharmacy. Saved a ton. Not your average app... feels good to give back in this crazy world. I have shared this app with all my family, friends and coworkers and my mom saved more right at about 85% on her inhaler!

Pretty easy!

My pharmacy had never heard of this card, but I wanted to give it a try so that I could donate to a charity. The cost of my prescription was the same as the other prescription card I have used in the past. Pretty easy set it all up. Did it while I waited in line.

Saving AND Giving!!

A lot can be said about healthcare and prescriptions, and debates can rage on for decades. But for a moment let’s focus on this bright spot!! We all need to save in necessary medications and if we can give to others in need in the process, it’s the best of both worlds!!

Developer Response ,

Thank you. I was just reviewing some of the transactions that came through today. One patient bought Clindamycin at Walmart for $14.63 (Retail $51.96) and another purchased generic Lyrica for 27.41 (Retail $110.99). We also donated money to the person's selected charity on the person's behalf. We are so proud of the SAVINGS our customers are seeing with our card every day at the pharmacy!!
