Very basic, and very effective
The interface is a bit clunky, but the execution (for me, at least) has been flawless. I haven’t won every auction, of course, but my snipes have always been executed on time. The free version never failed, but the paid version is so cheap that I’ve upgraded to support the developer.
One niggle is that I can edit snipes in the iPad app, but don’t seem to be able to do so in the iPhone app. On my iPhone if I want to change something, then I have to delete the snipe and create a new one.
Must have for every ebay buyer
I came from using the website which is archaic but very functional and practical. The app has the same feel as the website but much simpler (really you don’t need much). It functions the same and I’m all for it as it’s a smooth process here in the app. Well worth it as I’ve won so many bids that are within my desired price ranges for purchases. Highly recommend!
App works as advertised
After a couple of years winning and losing, the upgrade to using Gixen for placing bids has reduced my stress level. I no longer miss out because something came up that preventing me from bidding. Nor do I leave a bid out there only for the world to use for target practice. I also enjoy the ability to delete my bid when that seems appropriate.
