I love playing golf and have never played on courses depictied in GL Golf. I usually do not write reviews. I enjoyed playing the GL Golf lite pack it was more like regular golf. I find GL Golf espeacilly the greens from the add on packs very small, unrealistic in having severly slanted greens, hole placement on severe slants and peaks where putting is very hard and rediculous and nearly impossible. Some driving and chipping are not consitant throughout the game. I think some one ought to go play around of golf and see what greens look like, pin placement, and how the over all game of golf is played. I will not be purchasing any further packages of golf as I find it a waste of money. There is not much to choose from for golf on a mac and this is probably mediocre at best to what they could develop.

The game is fun and has great mechanics, but after a couple days the momentum and love for the game goes downhill. Same repetitive maps with the lack of in game content really makes that $15 price tag seem like a joke. Their motto claims the $15 price is better than going out and playing real golf, but honestly that’s a lousy excuse for the price. Unfortunately I don’t want to be so negative with this game, because at the end of the day I love golf, and it pains me to pick this game apart, but I must warn others out there like me who are interested in playing virtual golf. ALSO PLEASE FIX THE GREENS, ITS TERRIBLE AND UNREALISTIC.

I've enjoyed actual golf for decades so I was amazed to find GL Golf plays very realistically. Having played actual golf at a few of the included courses, I went for the add-on courses and found them also very convincing. I think GL Golf is the best of all the computer golf games I've tried and I'm glad to see the color problems that cropped up in OS 14.0 have been fixed in the latest GL Golf version. Way to go!
