I switched over to Glambook earlier this month and regret not having done it sooner - the app is extremely convenient for managing bookings and scheduling with a personal calendar. The app brings in a steady flow of clients, I manage to fill all my spots despite living in a relatively small town. And it's really cool that there's multiple subscription options, right now I give the platform a cut (10%). However, I am considering switching to a monthly subscription
Scammy
Signed up for a business account and before I could even upload my profile picture there was a request for my services under “Jane Doe”. The app makes you pay in order to confirm clients and view their contact info so I decided to pay the $19 commission fee in order to view the client. I try to use the CC processor in the app but I get a error message saying that “the card could not be processed at this time”. My only other option at this point is to pay the $25 subscription price to view the client booking details. I process the subscription through Apple Pay and confirm the appointment but the name still stays under “Jane Doe” and the number provided is a fake.
TLDR: Do not give these people your money!! They generate a fake client right after you sign up to trick you into paying for the stupid subscription.
Good app
A great app, the most well-designed one in its field. A schedule, bookings, payments - it's all in one place and runs smoothly. No need to monitor social media 24/7 in fear of missing an appointment - everything in the app is automatic, you even get notifications. And I set a late cancellation and no-show fee, ensuring that I won't go into the red in case of last-minute issues on part of the client
