I haven't fully explored the app but so far so good. It always sets my session to Mundaka (until I change it) which is kinda wierd. Also haven't seen a tab to receive local updates from surfers who aren't friends. One last thing, does it integrate buoy and wind technology. If you can track that data by imputing surf time/location and surf duration, you could essentially generate swell alerts for anytime someone rates 4+ stars. I'm sure as this app ages and grows in users it will be great. I like seeing a different kind of surf app. Model after FB so i have a timeline that I can check out and see what people using glassy are up to!

It's hard to find an accurate surf app this is one of the worst I've seen. Showed current waves were 5 feet when the spot was completely flat

Hi, We provide the groundswell. Waves height on each place vary depending on the type of spot, bottom, etc. We're working on integrating a proximity model with local (near to the coast) estimations. Thanks for your useful feedback.

iOS app is spotty at best. Crashes all the time and a hassle to use. Bought their surf wrist bands and they never delivered on them and refuse to refund. At least the lame app is free because they don’t refund or support their hardware surfing band. Bummer dude.
