Kaboom! is an Activision video game published in 1981 for the Atari 2600. It was designed by Larry Kaplan and is an unauthorized adaptation of the 1978 Atari coin-op game, Avalanche.

The perfect ‘waiting room’ diversion!
This classic arcade-type game is easy to learn. It gave me several lives from the start and allowed me to pick up where I left off in next game (progress wise) after I died so I didn’t have to clear the early stages repeatedly. Lots of fun!

Thanks! It was important to put gameplay above everything else. Let's be honest... no one wants to play a game where they die every five seconds (or they're forced to repeatedly watch ads). ;)
Addictive!
Excellent arcade game. But I have to warn you, it is very addictive. I find it easier to play on my iPad, because I am an older gamer and my eye site is not what it used to be. Excellent fun way to pass some time!

This is an awesome game. Changes every time you play. The patterns for the gloop keeps you focused on the task. Very cool retro graphics feel.
