I’ve been using this app for years now. I preferred it when it was geared more for period tracking. They’ve tried to build “community” type aspects to it that have zero interest in and it now seems much more blatantly focused on people who are trying to get pregnant. Now when I open the app it usually loads their “shop” or their social community rather than the place you log your symptoms. And there are so many pups now that it’s quite frustrating. Also, there’s something very weird about happening when I try to type in the “notes” section of the daily log. You cannot type fast at all because it’s like it doesn’t detect all the character you are typing? You have to type very slowly or else you will get string of typos. This has been going on for years and I don’t know what’s wrong. I would change to a different app except I have like ten years of data here. :( I just wish there was a simple period/symptom tracking app without the bells and whistles. This app used to be great.
I’ve used this app for 5 years and in the beginning on my time using it - it was great. Did exactly what I needed which was tracking cycle and give me an idea of ovulation. It gave your fertility % of each day and was a useful tool. Now the ads are just insane. You can’t click anywhere without one popping up. And it doesn’t show half the info it used to. I understand you can pay for premium but once I hit an x once to close out an ad. I don’t want to do it literally every 3 seconds. It’s gotten very frustrating for a user just tracking the basics.
This app used to be completely free. I loved it! I have used it through pretty much every pregnancy, practically my entire adult life. Then they made it subscription based and limited the options for the OG accounts. Fine. Annoying, but I can deal, since I have been using it for so long. But now they put up an advertisement that blocks the screen every time you try to do something. It is completely unusable now. I am extremely disappointed. They do not value their users. I’m done with this app. At least Ovia is still good to me. I prefer using at least 2 apps to track though, so now I will be looking for another one. I’m done with Glow and all their apps.
I used to really like this app. It helped me get pregnant 4 times. I loved that I could look back at past cycles that led to successful pregnancies and see what that cycle looked like, how my OPK test strips looked, what my symptoms were, etc. BUT THEN they changed it. Now, they want ME to PAY to have access to MY information I logged before. How is that even legal? That is my private health information I logged about my own body/cycle. I want access that, but they want me to pay for these ridiculous quarterly and yearly plans to be able to see what *I* input in the past. Pictures of my OPK strips, my symptoms, information about my body, all of that is MINE. I should have access to the information I input before *without* paying. I logged all of that when the app was free, no subscriptions. Now they’ve decided they want to charge people subscription fees to have access to information they logged in the past. This app is taking advantage of vulnerable women who simply want to get pregnant and track their cycles. Scam.
We are so sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the app. We didn't add Premium to restrict your experience in any way, only to give you the option to expand it! You can view your previous logs via the Menu page - Log Recap. If you have other questions regarding your data or suggestions for improvements please contact us at support@glowing.com. I hope you can enjoy our app again in the future.
I’ve had this app for many years and have had a mostly positive experience with it. I like how easy it is to log pms symptoms and to track where I’m at in my cycle, but in the last year or two, the app has become insanely clogged with pop-ups and annoying features. I wish there was an option to only see the features you want to use. It’s especially frustrating that they shove fertility and pregnancy stuff in your face since that can be a sensitive subject for many women, so there should be an option to toggle that off. I’ll probably have to switch to another (paid) app soon just to escape the extremely crowded feeling of this app now. A shame really
Ive finally gotten used to the interface of this app, though it can be overwhelming at first. And it’s been very helpful to track my periods and fertility signs. But I’ve got an irregular cycle and I want to get pregnant—so logging BBT would be very helpful. But as far as I can tell, I cannot input BBT manually, only sync a Glow thermometer. Nowhere I tap brings up an option for input, and I cannot find a solution online. I am unable to purchase a Glow thermometer where I live, and honestly it seems like a pretty slimy sales strategy to make it impossible to log BBT on an app that claims it’s trying to help women with pregnancy. So I’m hoping I’m just mistaken and that someone can tell me what to do.
Thanks for taking the time with this feedback. We sincerely apologize for any issues or confusion you've had with the app. There should be an option to manually input BBT in the top right corner of that logging page!
