Mia for Gmail 4+

This feedback is mostly for the developers but could also prove to be helpful to others. After looking at the screen shots it seemed to me that the email client allowed the user to access their email via a desktop app vs. a browser (which is what I was looking for cause I hate having to keep opening a browser tab for emails). After downloading the app it took me a few tries to actually get to it because I did not realize that the app was already opened. I noticed the email icon on the top right of my computer. I like how I can see my emails quickly without opening any app. But I DO NOT like how if I click on ‘Go to inbox’, it takes me to Gmail on a browser. If it took me to a seperate client/desktop app that would be perfect. I’m even willing to pay a few bucks a month for that. The app was also not very clear on what happens after downloading it. For example, I signed into my gmail and for me nothing happened, until I noticed the icon on the top right. Not very intuitive. I will be uninstalling the app after about 10 minutes and going with another app called Mail for Gmail as I’m looking for a proper client. The little icon/shotcut feature is neat but not enough to keep me using it. Best of luck and I’ll be on the lookout for new updates

I installed this application about 6 months ago and decided to try it out for a whirl...I am now using it daily. It's a lot more efficient and easy to use than the one I use with my Time Warner Cable or my Gmail email address. It allows me to connect them all in one location without missing a single thing. It's also fast and comes with a wide range of choices for saving copies, forwarding, or even deleting emails. It's a winner all around. It is rare for me to email as a first option, but I will respond if I am asked a question by someone. Overall, this application will be a winner!

Excellent email program, however, I'm experiencing the same issues numerous users face. Not alerted on any new emails. I tried every remedy that they released. No luck. We'll have to wait 2 days, then uninstall. Update: Thank you for the response. I've tried it option: force shut down the app Clear the cache as well as force shut down any other email applications such as Gmail. Start this first. Then follow by the other applications I shut down prior. The app started to alert me. Hoping it'll work following the restart, which I did not attempt.
