The Go Outdoors Georgia app is the official app of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Wildlife Resources Division. This free, mobile app gives sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts essential information in the palm of their hand. Features include: Purchase and store fishing and hunting licenses. Access to rules and regulations. Use geo-locating tools to enhance your recreational experience. Wildlife Resources manages nearly 1 million acres of public lands for wildlife and habitat in Georgia. These WMAs are featured on the app.

Have to sign in to check in each time Can't print from app

It appears to have license remembered but here are some thoughts on improvements:1. Harvest record should be automatically added each year to multiple year licenses rather than having to "purchase" one each year2. Should allow you to print from app on your phone. It appeared that it was supposed to have that capability but it just displayed the license with no obvious print button or print option displayed. 3. When going to checkin game or at WMA you have to go through sign in process each time rather than it remembering you based on adding your license to the app.

Sam hunts hogs
The last update definitely helped with the annoyance of having to re-login every time you hit the back button. Unfortunately, the ability to download and store the maps/boundary information is STILL not an option. This means before hunting we end up taking screenshots of the maps and then comparing them to the Garmin gps once we’re out hunting without enough signal to get the maps to work (or have “low signal” and using the online map drains the battery). Since the app came out the option to download and/or print a pdf version for each wma has become less and less available. Until one of these features is available, we will just continue to use the outdated pdfs we’ve printed or collected from info kiosks over the years and hope the boundaries haven’t been altered.

The ease of use when completing a game check is great; however, once I completed the game check I was not able to access my license/tags from the app. Also would be nice to save license to “Apple wallet” so it’s available offline, since there are many places in the woods where there is no internet signal

Thanks for the suggestion about the apple wallet! We will keep that in mind! Also, we just released a new app less than 3 weeks ago. We will bet that you will see some performance improvements if you download the latest version. If, by downloading the new app, you are still experiencing the same issue, we would love it if you could take a minute to tell us more about exact user flow for when you could not access your licenses after completing e-check. More specifically, if you could email Mobile@brandtinfo.com your device model, CID and steps (or even screenshots!) if you have time, that would help us so much and we could fix the problem.

The app is very easy to use. I would give 5 stars but… If I was in a remote area with little or no internet, syncing a license for display is not going to work. Should be able to send to files area on phone just like insurance card.Also, the fishing areas seem to be outdated. Need to update locations with latest info
