No Bluetooth connection
From day 1 I have not been able to connect via Bluetooth. I have been through ALL of the troubleshooting steps. How can a product in this age not work? Bluetooth is not a novel idea and your response that you are actively working on a fix does little to boost confidence in your company. After reading reviews in the App Store including the google App Store, it is clear you have a defective product and should stop selling it. In the multiple and never ending Bluetooth devices I have used I have never encountered a problem not been told to delete all of my other connections. Or move away from a USB port! Laughable.
We have a GeoPro with a GoPower GP-PWM-30-UL factory installed. Pairing the phone with the GoPower unit was easy enough, hold A and B on the unit simultaneously and then use the app to pair the device. Once paired, it allows you to give the unit a custom name and your done. Changing the settings is much easier via the app interface then on the unit itself. It’s also nice to see the solar current remotely, and seems to work from quite a distance (I can pair from my car while towing). Overall I’m impressed with the functionality.
I did find once that it stopped pairing, and I had to ‘forget’ the device in the iPhone settings and re-pair via the app. No big deal.
Worked for a while, won’t connect anymore
The app was great at first. Super easy to pair and view/control my 30A solar controller. After a few hours, it said known devices out of range. I had my phone forget the device and attempt to pair again like another user. I tried the soft reset feature on the controller which erases all Bluetooth data. I even tried using my wife’s phone. I can see the device just fine and then when I click to pair it says initialization failed. If I check my Bluetooth connections on my phone it shows connected, but I can’t access the data. I really wanted this app to work because my controller is not in plain sight.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
