Customer Service is awful
I ordered a pair of Yeezy Belugas from GOAT and waited 4 days to get an update on the shoes. They said that they’re trying to reach the seller and, if they can’t, they will try to find me another pair. Finally on the 5th day I got a notification that the shoes were on their way to GOAT for authentication. Finally on the 10th day when I emailed them about the shoes, they told me the seller bailed on the sale. Their policy is to notify you after 72 hours as to whether or not the transaction would come to fruition. However, after those 10 days when I got a refund I tried to look for another pair, but the market had moved up $100. I told them that they broke policy but they are avoiding answering my question or admitting guilt and because of them I had to pay more for the same shoes. I told them I could have bought them for $10 more after 72 hours because they were still listed on GOAT and StockX for a decent price. But after 10 days the price went up a lot. When I question them about it they avoid answering. They straight up keep telling me they gave me a refund. I inquired about this 5 times and each time they avoid answering my question as to why they were negligent and just respond with, the amount has been refunded to your account. Extremely unprofessional. Be aware when purchasing.

Goat is such a good place to buy your sneakers. The searching system is amazing as their filters actually work perfectly and show you the correct price. Another thing that they do well is the quickness. I made an account, put it in all my information, and bought sneakers in less than 5 minutes. They also accept any type of payment even prepaid credit cards and being a 15 year old I need one of those to buy my own stuff online and it worked perfectly fine. On stock x I tried to use the prepaid card and it kept getting declined even though I have used it before for other purchases which really ticked me off. Last but not least, their shipping was quick and easy to track. At first I thought it was going to take forever to receive my shoes because it took forever for the order to be confirmed but it got confirmed and sent to goat quickly. I got my shoes in 6 days which is faster than I expected. Their verification, wrapping, and quality was all there. Goat definitely gained my loyalty through one use and I’ll start buying all my non retail sneakers from there!!
Nonexistent Customer Service
Goat is great! Buy and sell with ease! Until you need customer service... It will give you a message such as “allow up to 24 hours to be notified” ... 3 days later no notifications. Email them or start a ticket to get some help? You get, “we will respond to you in the order of your request or within 24 hours, whatever comes first”, well 24 hours always comes first and you can expect NO RESPONSES. I have shoes consigned there, which means if they sell, all that needs to be done is someone at GOAT checks the shoes one more time, and ships. The shoes sell, the order is pending “for up to 24 hours, the sale will either be approved or denied by then” ... cool. Sounds fine.
24 hours later, nothing. Created a ticket, no response, sent an email, no response.
It’s honestly embarrassing. Especially for a company that tells you to email their “24/7 customer service”.
Then you look at reviews saying the same thing, and the developers respond MONTHS later asking for reviewers to EMAIL THEM!!! That’s the problem! Goat doesn’t respond to emails. You will forever be stuck waiting for someone at goat to “help” you. Honestly, get an actual customer service line, or live chat to help customers, ESPECIALLY SELLERS SINCE YOU NEED THEM FOR PRODUCT. They’ve merged with flight club now so I’m sure it’ll only get worse. Either sell through sites that will respond to your issues or keep your shoes. GOAT is very unprofessional.
