Have you ever wanted to slap around Hades as an angry minotaur? We hadn't either, but now that we’ve done it, we’re completely hooked. In Gods of Rome, you battle it out in fast-paced fights between familiar heroes. Each stage and character overflows with imagination and polish (like Atlas, who carries a huge globe that doubles as a devastating weapon). Collecting familiar names like Zeus and Achilles makes for an unexpectedly good time.
Beautiful Game, Needs A Few Fixes
The Good: Beautiful graphics and amazing character design. This game is a blast to play and keeps you coming back for more. The replay value is quite high. Overall, I really like this game.
The Bad: The only way to level up Four Star fighters is to use Special Nectar, which you can only get by participating in 3 on 3 PVP matches. Fine, but it is ridiculously difficult to get it. I won over 40 matches in a tournament and still didn’t get any Special Nectar! This is absurd! The developer should make Special Nectar available for purchase in the store, or at least feature Special Events where you can get it by completing quests on a harder difficulty. Also, it would be nice for additional Acts beyond Act 4 once you complete the game. However, the issue with the Special Nectar needs immediate fixing. It should not be that hard to get it in order to keep enjoying the game.
Big problem.
I love this game. Day one and I have already completed the first out of four parts. I love the concepts, the controls, and gameplay. HOWEVER, I experienced a problem when I was upgrading one of my characters - the game froze. So, I closed it out and tried to reload it. I got to the loading screen, the loading froze and kicked me back out. I have already refreshed, restarted, changed WiFi, etc but it still doesn’t work. It infuriates me because this is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Can you please tell me what I have to do or how it can be fixed? If it works again I will take off this crummy review and give you a five star review. I also noticed another person was experiencing the same problem, but it got fixed after the patch update. Mine hasn’t and I still don’t know why. Thank you.
(Edit)I think there is a problem between Game Center and the game. When I log in, it begins loading, then it tries to connect to Apples’s Gamecenter, but then freezes, and crashes.
